Adelaide Camper Vans
The City of Playford has been providing services to its residents since 1985. The city's first service was a small van service where customers were able to book an appointment with a driver who would then collect them from home or work and return them at a later time. This system worked quite well but there was always room for improvement. Over the years, the city council developed a fleet of vans that were used to deliver goods around the community. These vans had a capacity of 3-4 passengers and were often hired out to individuals and businesses alike. In recent times, the city council has expanded its range of services to include the provision of public transport, including bus routes, ferry rides and even taxi services. It is these new services that have led to the creation of the Adelaide Camper Van Company.
The Adelaide Camper Van Company offers three types of services. Firstly, they offer the delivery of goods throughout the city. They operate two main fleets, one consisting of five double decker buses and another consisting of eight single deckers. Both fleets are equipped with air conditioning and wheelchair access ramps. Secondly, they offer a daily service whereby a customer can call into the office and arrange for a driver to come to their house or business and take them wherever they wish to go within the city limits. Finally, they offer private hire services. Customers can either hire a vehicle for themselves or for others.
