If you’re planning a trip across country and need somewhere comfortable to stay, then a motorhome might just be the perfect solution. They come in many shapes and sizes, but they share certain characteristics. Most importantly, they offer plenty of space – enough room for two adults and possibly a few children if needed. And most importantly, they are self-contained units, so no need to worry about where you'll find food, water, power etc when you arrive at your destination!
I first came across motorhomes back in 2004 while I was working in the UK. At the time, my employer had an agreement with a supplier to rent them out to employees travelling abroad. It wasn’t long before I started thinking about how much fun it would be to travel around Europe in such a way. The idea seemed too good to miss, so I decided to take the plunge and buy myself a motorhome. Nowadays, I still love driving around in mine, but I don’t get to do it nearly as often as I used to.
