The most popular way to travel around Europe is by campervan hire. There are many reasons why this is such an attractive option. Firstly, they are cheap, secondly they allow you to explore at your own pace and lastly they give you complete freedom when travelling. This is particularly true if you are looking for a short break away from home, where you don't really know what you're going to find along the way. The best thing about campervan hire is that there are no restrictions placed upon you. You can stop anywhere you like, sleep wherever you like and eat whatever you like. If you want to stay somewhere longer than just overnight then that's fine too. In fact, you can even take a few days out if you wish!

It also allows you to see things that you might not otherwise get to see. For example, I visited Iceland once before I went on my first trip to Australia. I had never been to Iceland before, but I wanted to see some of the beautiful scenery and culture that the country has to offer. So, I booked myself into a campervan hire company in Reykjavik and headed north. After spending three nights in the capital city, I decided to head further north towards Akureyri. On the second day, I stopped in Thingvellir National Park. Here, I took part in a walking tour through the park, which included seeing the rift valley between two tectonic plates.
