Campervan Hire Fuencarral El Pardo
Fuencarral El Pardo is located just outside Madrid city centre, close to the A-5 motorway and within easy reach of the airport. It's an ideal base from which to explore Spain, especially if you're looking for something special like a trip to the Pyrenees or the Costa del Sol. The area has many attractions including some great museums such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, the Museo Thyssen Bornemisza and the Palacio Real de Madrid. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby too, making Fuencarral El Pardo perfect for a night out.
The town itself is home to several supermarkets, banks and other shops, as well as a couple of petrol stations. There are two bus stops at the end of Avenida de la Coruña, where there are regular buses into central Madrid. Alternatively, take the metro line 1 to Plaza de España station, then change onto line 2 and get off at San Bernabé. From here it's a short walk down Calle Mayor, past the Royal Palace and through the Puerta del Sol square.
If you prefer to travel by car, there are numerous parking spaces around the area, although they tend to fill up quickly during the day. If you plan to stay longer than a few days, it might be worth renting a car. This way you'll be able to visit places further away from Fuencarral El Pardo without having to rely on public transport.
