Aviemore Campervan Hire
If you're looking for a holiday home away from home then why not try renting a campervan? It's a great way to see Scotland at your own pace, without having to worry about getting stuck in traffic jams or worrying about where to park. If you don't know much about campervans, here are some things you should consider before booking your next trip!
- You'll need somewhere safe to leave your car while you explore the Scottish Highlands. Make sure you find out if there are any restrictions regarding parking near tourist attractions, such as castles or other historic buildings.
- It might seem like an obvious thing but make sure you get insurance cover for your campervan. This isn't just important when you're driving around in it, but also if something happens to damage it whilst parked outside your accommodation.
- When choosing your campervan make sure you check how big the kitchen is. A small kitchen means you won't be able to cook meals during your stay, so think carefully about what kind of food you plan to eat. Do you fancy eating lots of takeaway pizzas? Or perhaps you prefer to cook your own meals?
- Make sure you take plenty of warm clothes with you when you travel. Even though Scotland doesn't tend to get cold, it can still rain sometimes, especially in the summer months. Also remember to pack enough blankets and pillows for yourself and your fellow travellers.
