It's not only cheaper than taking public transport but it's also much faster and allows you to explore the countryside at your own pace. There are many places where you can hire a bike, however one of the easiest ways to find them is through a site like ours. Both offer great deals on bikes and both have very helpful staff. They both also have apps which makes things even easier. If you decide to use either of these websites you should book well ahead of time though, especially during peak season (May-September). During this period you might need to wait days before getting a response back from the company.
Another thing to consider is how far away you want to travel. Both companies offer free delivery within 100km of their office. However, some destinations are further away and require additional payment. For instance, I live in Ljubljana and would need to pay extra for trips outside of 100km.
