Either way works fine, although I prefer using Gumtree myself.
Once you've found a few places, you'll need to decide whether you want to look at the listing yourself, or pay someone else to look at it for you. In my opinion, it's best to look at the listings yourself. After all, you don't want to waste money on a property that doesn't suit you, right?
